ECCO 2017 webcasts - Part 1
Welcome & Introduction" by Nicholas Thatcher
The topic of this symposium is “the right treatment for the right patient at the right time”. The learning objectives are to increase our knowledge on the treatment options for non-squamous and squamous cell lung cancer, to better understand how to use histology and pathology results in determining the right treatment for patients, and to explore how different treatment modalities such as targeted therapies and chemotherapy are interconnected and how they work in sequence.
Ultimately, this symposium aims to help clinicians to give more informed guidance to patients on available treatment choices. In addition to the presentations by the guest speakers, it is an interactive session where audience members ask questions.
